Avif viewing inside iPhone app

hello,

I love the fact the Dropbox supports .avif image format. But I encountered a problem in the Dropbox app. When I select an Avif image, and then I zoom in, the image turns black and white. After that, inside the app, I can only see it in BW. The image is not changed and inside the desktop app, it is unchanged, with its original colors. It is just a problem with the iPhone app, with Avif and only when I zoom in.

if you guys want take a look it it would be very appreciated.

Hey @Icookwithwine - thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify the OS version of your device and the version of the Dropbox mobile app installed there as well?

Also, have you tried clearing the app's cache since you first noticed this to see if it improves matters at all?

To clear the app's  cache on iOS:

1. Open the Dropbox iOS app.

2. Tap the account icon (person) in the bottom right.

3. Tap the gear icon in the top right.

4. Scroll down and tap Clear cache.

5. Tap Clear cache again.

Once you’ve cleared the cache, log out of the Dropbox app, restart your device, then log back in.
