I am a long-time basic user with 6GB of storage.
I recently changed phones and as part of that process, moved Camera Uploads to the new phone. The old phone had 5G of photos, most of which I had deleted from DropBox. However, when I connected the new phone's Camera Upload, DropBox reset all the deleted-from-Dropbox files from the old phone, DropBox tried to sync them, and then I went over my storage and everything paused.
I manually moved files from my Mac computer (Sonoma 14.6) out of Dropbox. The DropBox browser instance says I have 2G of storage in Camera Uploads now (and about 4G total), but Dropbox still says I am over the storage limit and will not let me do anything (sync files, etc.). It's been a little over 24 hrs since I deleted the files. Will this eventually correct itself, or is something messed up? The operating system also says my Dropbox folder is about 4G (3.96G).
I dont use backups and my backups storage says 0. Ive tried logging in/out of my DropBox on the computer and have unlinked the old phone just to make sure that items in Camera Uploads are not getting double counted. Thanks for any suggestions.
