I noticed today that my Dropbox icon is gray and something seems wrong. When I click it, I'm taken to a page saying I've exceeded 2 GB. However, when I'm logged into my account, it shows in the bottom left corner that I'm using 3.5 GB out of 5.7 GB. What's going on?
Hey @ErZo - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Is it possible that you're logged into two different Dropbox accounts and hence the discrepancy you noticed?
Can you go to your online settings and let me know if your email address is an exact match with what you see in the app's preferences under the account tab?

However, the sync symbol is still there. I don't think it's actually syncing. Probably because it – mistakenly? – thinks the box is full?
HI @ErZo, if the Dropbox desktop application isn't syncing, you would see a different icon entirely.
The circular arrows means that the app is syncing files to and from your account online.
