My sharing is still interrupted, even after permanently deleting Dropbox files.

Question

I have a basic account.  I had current usage of 2.52 of 3GB; was told "we've interrupted your sharing activity", which applied to all files.  I read the article about why it might be happening.  I was urged to upgrade.  Instead I permanently deleted several items I had already deleted, in order to "empty my trash".  It now shows I'm using 1.63GB of 3GB.  I'm still not able to share files, with no further explanation.

Thoughts?

Hi from me as well, @deborahemast! Since the error you mention sounds related to the Help Center article Mark linked above, I’ve gone ahead and opened a ticket for you.

Please check the inbox (or spam folder) of your Dropbox email address and reply back to it, whenever possible.

Instead I permanently deleted several items I had already deleted, in order to "empty my trash".

Deleted files dont use up quota, so, this will have had no impact on the error.

I'm still not able to share files, with no further explanation.
