I don't see any search results for my .doc file on my iPhone.

Question

I can see the search file list complete on my Mac but quite many are missing on the iPhone.

I see that NO .doc file is shown. Only .pdf, .ppt and images.

File type selection does not include an "All" tag?? And why even if selecting "Documents" (mine is a .doc) it does NOT show it?

Anybody could help, PLEASE?…

when selecting the Document type file option -the same, that particular doc isn't there.

Oops, it reads Dismiss when I try to upload it…

No, on my iPhone it does NOT appear neither scrolling. Btw, it does not appear on my Mac either… However, fortunately I had made up a file list of that folder to check that it WAS there. I'll try to attach a screenshot of that file list .txt.

Hey @anazacco, let me jump in here, too.

When using the search function on iOS, you can only choose one specific file type at a time.

Can you select the “Documents” option once more and upload one more screenshot of what you see then? I’d also like a visual of the file, as it normally appears in your folder (if you can manually find it on your iPhone by scrolling).

Thank you. Weird because I searched in other folders and it does show also .doc and .docx.

I tried to find that specific file in "all folders" with same result.

Still I insist: can't one do a search without selecting only one file type?
