I can't delete residual files in the Dropbox folder on Windows 10

DB not available

How to delete residual files in DB folder if DB not available / not connected in (old) computer anymore?

How long ago was it that you disconnected the Dropbox desktop application from this machine?

Have you rebooted the machine since this error appeared?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Did you originally install the Dropbox desktop application under the administrator account, or using full admin permissions if this is a company-managed device?

think it was my private account then connected to company account.

Could you try installing the Dropbox desktop application again and signing into the Dropbox account you're currently using to post on the forum?

Even if this account you're using is empty, this should still convert that old folder to a Dropbox (Old) folder, allowing you to then delete it afterwards.

Seems was able to sync to server and delete there

Anywhere else I need to find / check residual files?

It should be possible to delete the Dropbox cache folder once you've uninstalled the Dropbox desktop application.

Are you still getting a similar error when deleting that folder?
