I’m using the timestamp camera. I’m not using any other filter or effect. But I haven’t had any issues when using the same app before.
Has there been any recent updates to that app? Is it possible that it makes changes to your images in some form, which Dropbox detects as two separate images?
No, as far as I can tell, it hasn’t happened. Also, it doesn’t happen with every photo I take with that app. It occurs randomly—sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.”
Thanks for the info. It's likely that there's something occurring in that app to cause there to be two images registered by the Dropbox mobile app. As to what that could be, I couldn't say.
I'd recommend contacting the developers of the app, just in case, to see if other users have experienced similar behavior.
