Rename Linux root folder on Business accounts.

Question

Some software don't work with whitespace in the folder name, and Dropbox Business forces the folder to be named "Business Name Dropbox", causing some software to crash if the Dropbox folder is the working directory. This means that a standard Dropbox account will work properly on Linux, while a Business account will not work properly on Linux.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community. Unfortunately root folder names for business accounts can not be updated.

You can however could on your own add a symlink that doesn’t have the space.

e.g. ln -s '/home/username/Business Name Dropbox' '/home/username/BusinessNameDropbox'
