Please help with perissions error. I uinstalled Droppox now I cannot even re-install. Temporary disabled my antivirus/firewalls.
Thanks, @parikc! What I want you to try next is an advanced reinstall of your Dropbox app.
Let me know how that goes.
Hi @parikc, and thanks for your post.
Can you please open the .txt file that shows as part of your Dropbox error and copy paste the entire error log here?
I’ll take a look at it and guide you from there.
Keep me posted.

Advanced reinstallation does not help. 😭😭😭
Is that the message you get even after the advanced reinstall?
Yes, after an advanced reinstallation.
Hey @Vovantro! Since the advanced reinstall didn’t work for you, I’ve gone ahead and logged you a ticket instead.
Please check your email inbox, when you can, and reply back to me.
Запустил DropboxInstaller.exe.6.
Translation:
The problem went away after simply uninstalling Dropbox using Windows and reinstalling it again, without the advanced installation method.
As I understand it, Windows somehow uninstalled it incorrectly. I uninstalled it using Windows a long time ago, about a year and a half ago. I uninstalled it after Dropbox stopped working for some unknown reason. Reinstalling it using the standard method didn't help. But I managed to install it using the advanced installation method on October 12th. Dropbox apparently registered itself again. But it still wouldn't start and returned an error. Today, I decided to fix the problem by reinstalling it using the advanced installation method, following the instructions.
PS: Maybe someone will find my information useful.
