I am an admin, and my work email address is the primary login at my company for Dropbox. We have a Dropbox Advanced plan with over 20 users.
At some point in time, I was told that if a basic personal account were linked that the personal account would then have access to all the "space" that my employer's account has. Is that true?
If a basic personal account were linked, would that account then have end-to-end encryption as well?
If the answer to both those questions is no - my question is this - if I were to set up my own personal Dropbox Advanced plan, I understand that I could not link it to my employer account because the type of account is the same. Would I ultimately have to create a separate login on my Mac at home for when I did work for the company, so that login would be connected to the work Dropbox, and then my regular home login could be connected to my personal Dropbox?
I ultimately need space and end-to-end encryption for my personal files. Thanks.
