Dropbox Transfer on web will not allow me to click on "Create Transfer" - page appears to freeze once attempted to click on site links. Any update on how long this outage will last?
Hi Everybody,
Some users are finding that clicking "Accept All" or "Decline" on the privacy banner unfreezes the page they are viewing. As Greg noted above, we are actively working on a fix and will update this thread when we have more news. In the meantime, you can view status updates here.
Thanks,
Ben

It's working fine for me. What problem, exactly, are you having? Have you cleared your browser's cache/browsing history or tried another browser as a test?
My staff and I were getting errors yesterday when trying to utilize Excel for the web via Dropbox. I researched issues reported yesterday. Today we are still experiencing the same errors. I was curious if the issues from yesterday were resolved. I will do those troubleshooting items and see if it clears it up.

What errors are you seeing? Please be specific. Provide a screenshot if you can.

How do I delete a file that I just created? Neither the file nor the parent folder are shared. I have tried two different browsers.
DROPBOX ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED! This has been going on for 3 days. I started a discussion yesterday and it was closed out stating it was resolved.
My staff and I have been getting different various errors for 3 days now when trying to utilize Excel for the web via Dropbox. I researched issues reported on 02/13. On 02/14 and 02/15 we are still experiencing the same errors. We have done all troubleshooting items already.
Hey @ShannonP, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is this file fully uploaded?
Can you try from a private browsing/incognito window as well and let me know how it goes?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I am also having the same issue and I am an Admin. I can delete things through the Desktop app but not on the web. others in my office are having the same problem. Two of us tried incognito mode on chrome and that did not help.
Thanks!
Sorry to hear about this, @Melissa Z.3.
Does this happen with all files in the account or specific ones?
If this has to do with team folders, can you try to delete them from the Content tab in your admin console and let me know if it works?
Hi everyone,For the past 24 hours i've run into a new problem.I own the files, but the delete button disabled. Is this a glitch? Thanks
Hi Hannah,
It is all files. I cannot view the specific file from the Admin Console. That is only showing me main folders and I cannot get to the individual file level from there (unless I'm missing something?).
Melissa
I tried incognito and the results are the same.
Hey everyone, thanks for the info!
Would you mind clarifying the plan you're currently using, and also send us a few screenshots, in order for us to have a visual too?
Thanks a bunch!
Above is what the menu looks like with Delete greyed out. I am on the Advanced for Business plan.

Thanks for the screenshot, Melissa!
Is this a personal file of yours? I know you mentioned it works in the desktop app, but does the deletion go through to the account online, when you use the app to remove content?
It is a file located within a shared folder on the website. I normally access through the desktop app which appears to be working fine. However, I do have co workers off-site that only access through the web for the same files. Both of us are having the same issue with the same shared files. I checked other files and it had the same issue. I made sure to check files that would not be in use by someone else.
I am on Enterprise.

Has anyone found a solution for this issue? We're experiencing the same thing and nothing seems to fix the issue.
Hi @MyDerek, thanks for messaging the Community!
Could you attach a screenshot showing where you're seeing this issue on the Dropbox site?
are you not able to delete files from Explorer/Finder, if you have the Dropbox desktop application installed?
This will help me to assist further!
The Printscreens below illustrate the greyed "Delete" buttons circled in red.
Thanks for the images and for alerting us to this problem.
Dropbox engineers are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
I trust that the printscreens provide the necessary detail to resolve the issue. Files can be deleted from Explorer using my computer's desktop application. However, My Team is unable to delete files using their computers. The scale of the exercise requires my full team to be able to cull (delete).
Can we just confirm this is definitely a dropbox issue right now before I get confused on this because I can't delete random files either
I also can't make anything I share editable, everything is stuck on view mode too...
Hi there, has anyone had this similar problem before?
We have a company Dropbox account. When I click on "All files" I can see two folders - my folder and the folder that the rest of the company can access.
1. As of 2 days ago, I could delete files and folders in my own folder. Today, I cannot delete anything... I can only create folders, rename files, share, edit, etc.
2. I have not changed any settings or been in my folder since two days ago
3. It says I am the owner of the folder and only I can edit
4. Strangely enough, I can go into my shared company folder and I can delete files and folders there
Thanks for your help in advance!
