I believe this blog doesn't reflect the frustration of a big % of your users who have huge qty of pictures and videos scattered all over their DropBox. I believe those users have no idea of the existence of this blog, its survey and voting system. These are boomers and gen Xers who don't use Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok or Discord to document their lives. Most of them are probably casual Facebook users and avid emailers. Their pictures and movies are scattered all over the place on different servers, hard disks, clouds, boxes, albums and their videos and films are of all possible formats from the past 50 years. I think you should ask them if they want a smarter picture and video organiser in DropBox which can actually backup, sort and help tell stories out of this gigantic mess. Send them an email and see what they respond. I think DropBox is missing out on a huge opportunity here. Your blog is for Millennials and gen Zers who are not concerned (yet) about the value of leaving organised and coherent family souvenirs for their children. I am and I would love to share my thoughts and feedback on this matter to your dev team. And I’m not talking about starting Carousel all over again. Think backup, sort and stories, not social media app. Tx
