no i have tried these steps twice and they dont remove the icon
Could you try installing the app, and not sign into any account or set it up, and then try uninstalling it again?

okay so i did that and it removed it for a day. it reappeared again today

Are you still getting the same error after rebooting your computer?
i get the folder after rebooting and i do not know if i installed with admin priviliges
And what's the exact error you're now getting when trying to delete it @usman4?
i am not getting an error while uninstalling the app but the drop box folder stays in my file explorer
