I had to reinstall Windows 11. Thus also Dropbox. Clicks on the icon on the taskbar brings up "Sign in". Pressing the icon, but nothing happens. I have access Dropbox via the website ig that matter.
Have you tried a reinstall?

Problem solved.Dropbox pointed to some accounts on computers that were trashed. Deleted these accounts and all was OK.Sorry for the late reply. The email had ended up in the junk folder.
