Hello, my query is this: If someone else shared a folder with me and I wish to no longer have access to that folder, will the person that shared it with me receive a notification if I remove my access to the folder?

While they won't get a notification that you removed your access from the shared folder, they'll be able to see the folder's member list as normal.
