Will others be able to upload and edit files without a Dropbox account in a shared folder I created?

I just created a folder and added three people to share it. Will they be able to add items or edit without having their own Dropbox accounts?

If you'd like others to be able to upload and edit files in your shared folder, they'll need to have their own Dropbox accounts.

Note that if you'd like them to only upload back to your own account, you can set up a file request instead.
