There are no thumbnails for my files on the Windows 11 desktop app.

Question

The thumbnails for the dropbox folder on my Windows 11 are not showing up. This issue is making it difficult for me to work since I need the thumbnails to choose photos for my projects.  In all the other files on my laptop the thumbnails are showing up no issues. I have reinstalled the Dropbox app on my computer along with deleting all cookies & caches on my computer including thumbnail cache on my laptop. I have also restarted my computer a few times and have also deleted and uploaded the photos as well.

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me! The sync was showing complete on my app, and the photos were available for offline use. So out of nowhere the thumbnails are showing up now, so that looks like it's fixed. Although there is a new issue occurring when I try to select multiple photos in the dropbox file on my desktop. Typically I can hold down "shift" and then select which photos I want to select. Also a small box in the corner of the thumbnail will show "check marked" when selecting. Now when I hold down select, it's only letting me select 1 photo of a time or I have to select all in the same sequence. I'm going to try to restart my computer in the meantime. I have never seen this happen before.

To clarify, are all of your Dropbox files/folders available offline on your computer? I’d also like to know the current syncing status of your Dropbox app.

Other than that, what happens if you move one of your files out of the local Dropbox folder? Are you able to see its thumbnail then, or does the issue persist?
