Storage Quota Mismatch - 3.4 GB used but only 680 MB of files

Hello, I have a technical issue with my storage quota. My account shows 3.37 GB of 4.25 GB used, but my actual files only total ~678 MB.My shared folders are empty (but the system claims they use 845 MB).I have permanently emptied the 'Deleted files'.I have logged out and in multiple times.Could a moderator please help me by triggering a manual re-calculation of my account's storage quota? Thank you!

The usage detail you see is accurate. It always is.

Where do you see this? Provide a screenshot if you can so we can understand what you're seeing.

If you're looking at the files on your computer, are they all set as available offline or are some of them marked as online-only? Also, do you have any folders removed from the local drive using Selective sync? Either of those options would result in fewer or smaller files than what you have stored in your account.

The screenshot above is showing that you have 2.5GB of regular files. Those files would be included in what you can see in your account on the All Files page.

You're likely still a member of a shared folder. You can see a list of the shares that you're a member of on your Sharing page. You can remove shares from your Dropbox account from that page as well.

Permanently deleting files won't reclaim any additional space. Once a file deleted, that space is reclaimed. There's no need to permanently delete the files, and doing so prevents you from recovering them if the deletion was a mistake.
