I’m trying to change my email address. The instructions I found says to go to my initials in the right hand corner, but there’s nothing there. Also settings don’t have an option either.

Could you confirm that you're logged into the Dropbox site, and that you can see your initials or avatar?
It should be either on the top right corner, or the bottom left corner as the interface is undergoing changes. Alternatively, you can click this link to take you there directly.
From there, you should be able to change your email address.

It’s helpful for others who might run into a similar situation. (And yes, sometimes there are things that aren’t available on the app, so using the web version can be a great workaround in those cases).
