My friend referred me to Dropbox on a new laptop but I didn't get the referral bonus. Only says referral ineligible. Any idea how to resolve this?

Thanks for your suggestion. However, the laptop is new. The referrer lives a city away so I'm not sure why it was tagged ineligible.
HI @atlasmcorp, just for clarification, are you certain that you didn't activate the referral from a person on same network as your own at the time you activated it?
Yes, I'm certain. The referrer has been to our place but definitely doesn't live / work here.
