Bring back the Mailbox app

Even if you don't change anything about it, it'll still be better than any email app/site that's available now in 2025.

It was a mistake to kill the app.

Make it independent like Protonmail, i.e. not reliant on Gmail.

Steve Jobs said you are just a feature. Even in 2025, he is still right.

Email is not going anywhere. It's time for Dropbox's solution to it. And trying to kill it was not the solution.

At this time, there is no information on if the app will be returning in the future.

I 100% agree with this statement. Mailbox literally changed the email game for me forever, and then it left without warning nor replacement ever not even today. it was literally the best email client I've ever used, and after they killed it I stopped subscribing to dropbox shortly after. if they brought back mailbox, I'd renew my subscription to dropbox today and mailbox would immediately be my preference for email on my iPhone and iMac. it was just the best, had no chance to become the goat that it is, and it made no sense to kill it other than some other company paid to kill it, it was too good
