I've installed the desktop app twice, but I have 3 Dropbox names on my machine now

I have installed drop box twice on my computer in hopes that I could use the shortcut on my desktop to open but it want open now I have 3 drop box names in the same place and I need to remove 2. Not sure is this why it's not allowing me to open it or not from the desktop ICON.

Hi @Evelene, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It shouldn't be possible to install two copies of the Dropbox desktop application on your machine. What OS are you running currently?

What are these duplicates you're referring to, are they Dropbox folders, or the installations of the desktop app? Have you tried uninstalling the app to see if this helps remove the duplicates you're seeing there?
