How can I backup our entire Enterprise Dropbox account?

We are planning to use Dropbox for our enterprise storage and file solution. We expect to have about 100TB of data across the world. For regulatory purposes and because the cloud is not a backup (at least from our view) wen want to have a backup of all the files. We need to be able go have backups for certain files 10 years back.

 

We are using Veeam for all other backups. How do other companies handle this issue?

 

I am thinking of two sulutions:

• Have a VM with dropbox sync and then backup the VM
• Use a Synology NAS with CloudSync as a backup

Any other, better ideas?

Hi @marcokoch, thanks for messaging the Community.

 

Currently, there isn't a method to backup an entire Dropbox account, which would include all files from all members and admins on a Dropbox team.

 

There may be some method to do this using a third party app to link to all active members separate and to then save those files externally on a central location.

 

I'll leave this thread open for other users to comment on their suggestions for this.
