Which Dropbox platform are you using to generate your transfers? If you’re using the website or the mobile app, have you cleared their cache?
If yes, have you also cleared WhatsApp’s cache?
Do you use any other third-party apps for generating similar links? If yes, is the thumbnail not working only with Dropbox?

and its same way and same share app (whatsapp) every step is same and I use it daily so its important

How about links with previews from other sites apart from Dropbox, @aammash?

I noticed that from around the start of June, whenever I share my dropbox links through WhatsApp (either mobile or desktop) they no longer appear like they used to with thumbnail and title, a little detail that was extremely helpful when searching for a link or delivering to a client. Now, whenever I share a link, it only appears as an ugly generic link with a description of what Dropbox is as a service.

Hi Jay, as far as I know, the issue is still present in most messaging services: instagram, etc.
The link appears the same, no thumbnail or title 😞
I've tried different devices, browsers, clearing cache and it still looks the same.
Please let us have the links as they used to be, these new ones are awful and unpractical.

Hi, Dropbox image will appear when you paste link and wait for few seconds. It happen same when we send links from other websites. Somebody recommended me to use this WhatsApp to send app on WhatsApp.
Hey @Adrian L.5, have you tried copying the link and pasting it to WhatsApp, to see if the thumbnail appears, like the user mentioned above?
Have you checked if this is happening with links from other apps/services besides Dropbox, Adrian?
Yes, only dropbox is not working well to show the preview thumbnail image, other apps are working fine sending their url link within whatsapp. When is dropbox going to address this issue, I been having this problem since 21 Aug 24.
