Cannot ONLY share sub folder in Paper

Question

I organize many things in many folders within Paper. I have a new project requiring multiple paper docs, and would like to share and collaborate all these with other users. When I try to share the folder, I receive an message saying that they need to be members of the parent folder in order to share this sub folder. I do not want to let them to see the contents of the parent folder, or the other sub folders of that parent folder. Is it not possible to only share a sub folder with other users?

Thanks for the quick reply Megan. I’ve tried on both laptops and phone.

To recreate: open folder I wanted to share (which is nested within another folder), then click three dots, then “share” option. Type email of person I wanted to share with (with optional note), then share in upper right to send it. Pop up appears indicating what I wrote in my original post.

How do I share a photo with you via my phone?

Do you use the web in order to do so? If so, have you tried a different browser by any chance? Feel free to send me a screenshot of the error message you mentioned above, if this happens again.
