Mark, THANK YOU for the quick response. But HOW do I download it to my machine?I'm running windows xp.I was sent this video and it is in my paid dropbox account. So, how do I get it out of my dropbox account and possibly onto my desktop.I want/need to post this video on youtube. Many thanks.
Use the youtube "browse" button and go locate the file, which is in your dropbox folder.
I'll give that a try.Thank you for your time and answers.
GOT IT !Here's what I did.Instead of going to my account at dropbox.com I wentto my desktop and clicked on the dropbox icon.Found the video file I wanted and click/dragged and dropped to my desktop. Then I went to my youtube account page and clicked on "find file" and found it on my desktop. The moral of my story : cannot do it from my account on dropbox.comHave to locate it on dropbox on desk top.Got It !Thanks for the suggestions.
There is a web service which does exactly this - move large files from your Dropbox to YouTube, that is. Check out http://boxconnect.org.
I tried http://boxconnect.org and it worked great to transfer huge video files directly from Dropbox to YouTube. Thank you!
I have not been able to connect to boxconnect.org for several months.
I used boxconnect.org two days ago to move two videos from Dropbox to YouTube and it worked perfectly.
Dave A., I would LOVE to be able to do that, but I always get a timeout (MA, USA - comcast user), Even with the link you posted. Are you closer to Berlin, Germany than I am? What could I be missing?

Rick, I am out in the cornfields of rural Michigan, USA. My internet access is Verizon wireless. I pay for uploads and downloads by the GB. That is why it's so nice when someone shoots a video in my workshop, they can post to their dropbox, then I can move it to YouTube and edit in YouTube. I don't have to download the video, edit and then upload again. So far boxconnect.org is working great for me. Your Comcast probably has more restrictions than my Verizon Wireless because the longer it takes, the more I have to pay Verizon.
My DNS gives [93.180.156.244] which seems tobe Germany and ping always times out!
What IP do you get?
It works again.
We had some server issues.
Thank you for the heads up on boxConnect!! That saves me so much time it's unbelievable.
Check out YouTuBox - it does exactly that! Boxconnect seems dead.
hello, I am late. But I dis the same thing, I can help U
Dropbox lets you store your files online, sync them to all your devices, and share them easily. https://zapier.com/zapbook/dropbox/youtube/ it can connect dropbox and youtube, you can try, lol, and if you wanna cave youtube, this one must be helpful http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/save-youtube-videos.html good luck man
The easiest way is to do it is on your phone. Open up the file in dropbox, click on the 3 dots on the top right, tap Export, then scroll down to Youtube and you done! Voila, your done in a matter of seconds and you don't need boxconnect.
