I've been doing mobile syncing of my mobile phone on Dropbox for over 10 years and haven't had any issues. Recently I noticed large chunks of years are missing. For example the entire year or 2025 there are only 2 photo back ups and in 2023 there are only 35 photos for the whole year that should be synced automatically via…
When someone clicks on the video, it should pause and play instead of drawing/annotations. People are used to playing and pausing that way. There should be a separate button if someone wants to draw something in the frame. Frame.io does this well. Can we see that in Replay?
When I upload a video to Dropbox a thumbnail is automatically generated. Is there a way to determine which frame the thumbnail is generated from? Or, is there a way for me to create a thumbnail graphic and assign it to the video as I can with YouTube and vimeo?
I use share links of videos to put on my website and I change the end paramters to "raw=1" to make this happen. I was trying to work out if I can share videos through Dropbox so people can preview but not download? Does anyone know if this is possible? I have over 100GB of video uploaded and want to share it with someone so they can see it but only be able to download it until I change their shared abilities.
I have been a longtime Dropbox user and tonight, for the first time, someone I sent a film to via Dropbox said that the movie stopped playing on the Dropbox website after one hour and gave the viewer the option to Download the movie. Why is this? I normally give two links to friends: a link to the webpage to watch the film…

I have a 1.8GB file that is a 18-minute video clip. I sent the link to a viewer, but it stopped playing after 15 minutes, with the message: "You're watching a preview. To watch the full video, download or add it to your Dropbox." They don't have DB. Are they only able to view a video file that is 15 minutes or less? I hope…
I put a video of a meeting I did yesterday in my Dropbox. It is 1.5 hours long and I then obtained a link and sent it out to those that had attended my meeting. Today I find out that people accessing that video can only watch one hour of it. Why is that? I thought there was no limit? Thanks for help. — Richard
