So it would seem that when I now make a file online only, the finder colour code associated with it disappears.
Is this deliberate, because for me it's an absolute disaster?
I use purple, for example to signify that a file is uploaded to my client's server. Very often I work on jobs that create many files that are shared & amended during the course of the job. Only the final files have to go "out the door" at my client's end & so they are the ones the are most likely uploaded. I still have to go in later & make sure all the versions & iterations are backed up on their servers.
The thing is, very often, I'm on another job by then & so I have to make projects online only, so I have no way of seeing how far I got in backing up these files (which are, more often than not, 10-15GB files, so they're not things that upload quickly) without bringing everything back down to the Dropbox folder to see the colour codes.
Is it really necessary to hide them like this?
