All the posts I see on this topic are at least 2 years old, so... straightforward: Is it possible to post a single photo stored in Dropbox on a Facebook page from either the Dropbox or the Facebook side?
Thanks.
Hi @dcyphers, I'd be happy to answer this one for you!
Which platform do you want to use in order to achieve that? Feel free to also have a look into this Help Center article.
Let me know more!
Hey @dcyphers, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that you should be able to achieve this in a couple of ways.
For starters, you can locate the photo you'd like to post on Facebook in our mobile app on your Android device and export it to Facebook from there.
Otherwise, you could export it to your device and upload it to your Facebook account from there as you'd normally would with any other file on your device.
When it comes to your Windows device, you should be able to follow a similar process. Just download the file you'd like to post on Facebook from our website and upload it to Facebook via your web browser directly.
If you have the desktop app running, this file should probably be syncing in your Dropbox folder, so you could just upload it from there right-away.
I hope this helps!
All the replies from Dropbox state the obvious but don't directly answer the question. Obviously if the photos are in Dropbox, they're already on our devices. We're trying to find out whether there's a way to upload the photo to Facebook DIRECTLY FROM DROPBOX when we don't have access to the device containing the original photos.
Hi @TheKeel, currently, it isn't possible to upload directly to personal Facebook accounts, you can only upload to Facebook Pages using this feature.
However, there may be some third party apps or services that can act as an intermediary to upload images from Dropbox to Facebook.
Didn't know about this feature. Thank you!
