I got extra 20GB space from N26 Bank. I can see them on my settings. Yet Dropbox does not see them as storage space to be synchronized, it only counts the 3,88 GB that I got long ago by telling friends about Dropbox.
What does www.dropbox.com/account/plan show?
Please also remember that the N26 promo space is limited to 12 months, so, it may have expired now.
I recently found out that a person could have 2 DropBox accounts. Since I volunteer for a group of retired principals, I thought that it would be a good idea to have one separate from my personal account. When I did this, (removed per the Community's Guidelines), the new account (hotmail) had all of my personal files in it. Not only that, but while I previously had 7.5 GB of storage in my personal account (through referrals), both accounts now show only 2Gb each. I would appreciate it if the 7.5 could be restored even if I need to lose one of the accounts. If I do lose the second (hotmail) account, do I need to back up all of these files first onto a hard drive?
Hey @dwhamilton, sorry to hear about this.
Can you please send us a screenshot of the plan tab of both of your accounts?
This will help us assist further.
The hotmail account now show 0 folders. This is good ... what it should be. I think it was waiting for me to verify the account ... for a long time since I rarely use the hotmail account. So that is cleared up, I think.
The gmail account shows "using 7.7 of 7.75 GB" in one part (see attached screenshots) and "using 7.7 of 2.000 GB" in another.
@dwhamilton - if it says you are using that have you looked at www.dropbox.com/home for files? What about www.dropbox.com/backups
I now can see and access my files on my personal account. I still see the "using 7.7 Gb of 2.000 Gb" put I believe the discrepancy is because I have a 2.0 basic account with the additional 5.75 coming from referrals. Your and other responses were helpful. I believe this can now be "cleared" as an accepted solution ... but I don't see the button now.
