How can I share a voice memo file with some people?

Hi,  I wish to securely send 1 hour long voice memos.  I set up a dropbox transfer.   It appears that I could drag and drop the file in a designated folder in my dropbox folder on computer. It seemed it uploaded to dropbox. Then I got an e-mail saying I could copy a link to send it.  So I did a test and sent it to myself.  I received the file via e-mail and uploaded it.  I saw 2 folders, one had a bunch of files in it, the other was the voice memo.  I only want to send the voice memo to people.  Is there a better way to do this in which only the voice memo will be sent?  I am also wondering how much space a 1 hour recording may use up on dropbox.

Have you tried sharing the file through a shared link?

 

A link gives view-download access to files you share with other people.

 

If you want to test this on your end, after you create the link, try to open it from a different browser or a private browsing window, otherwise, it's just going to redirect you to your account.
