Share button has disappeared from the right-click menu in the Dropbox folder

Hi all, can someone pls help me figure out where the share function went in the Dropbox desktop app for Mac? If I right click on a folder I get the following options: send a copy, rewind, view on Dropbox.com, make online only, and don't sync to Dropbox. I used to get a share and copy link function was easy and intuitive. I note that I was able to share a folder with a work colleague on the mobile app but have do not have this ability on the desktop app. PS: I ahve the latest app version and everything else is great.

Any clues would be great. Thanks.

Quitting and re-opening Dropbox fixed it, and sharing options are back now.

Hey @Frustrated user1, thanks for letting us know about this.

Are you seeing this when right-clicking on files in the backup folder or just any and all files in your Dropbox folder?

Also, what's the sync status of the Dropbox application? You can hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar with your mouse, to check.

Let me know what you find.

I'm seeing this on all folders and files. there is no option to 'share'. Syncing is up to date.

Would you mind sending over a screenshot of the options you see?

Also, what version of macOS are you running on your computer and which version of Dropbox do you have installed?

You can see the Dropbox version, by hovering over the Dropbox icon again.
