I am using a Mac laptop and when I check multiple photos to download they do not download any of them. I have to download one at a time. How can I download more than one at a time?
Hi @cranerr, could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, and clearing your cache?
Hi @cranerr, thanks for posting on our forum.
If I get this right, you’re having trouble downloading files directly from the Dropbox website, correct?
Are you receiving any kind of error when trying to download multiple files at once? Also, is the total size of files you’re downloading more than 20GB perhaps?
Let me know!
I am having issues only with downloading pictures. There is no error. Also, I do not see the size of anything on Dropbox.
Hey @cranerr, can you clarify if you're using the web to download content locally?
Do you perhaps use the desktop app, when trying to change the state of your files?
You mentioned there's no error, can you let me know what happens then?
I am doing this from the site. Nothing happens. It is not downloaded. Also, if I select a folder to download, everything in the folder will download but the photos.
I see. Can you try again on a different browser @cranerr?
Also, I'd love to know more about the size of the folder you're trying to download.
I did try a different browser. Regarding size, I cannot see the size in Dropbox.
Hey @cranerr, sorry to jump in here!
How did it go when you used a different browser?
Also, you can follow the steps here, to see the size of files and calculate the size of folders on our website.
@Hannah The same result with a different browser. Thank you for the instructions on seeing the size. 🙂
I am able to see the size now. Even trying to download 2 files that are KB size fails. There is no error. It just quickly downloads but nothing is there.
Hi @cranerr, are the pictures in a shared folder, by any chance?
If you could send us a screen recording of what happens when you follow this process, that'd be amazing.

That worked. It is not very handy though. Thank you @Jay
@Jay That worked. Thank you,
@Jay @Megan
This solution you suggested (could you try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, and clearing your cache) worked but I had to install a new unzip app and now it is back to square one where I cannot see the photos again.
Hi @cranerr, happy Monday!
Which browser do you use at the moment?
Chrome, incognito, all extensions turned off
Hey @cranerr, sorry to jump in, but could you clarify if you're having an issue with downloading the files or just previewing them?
If possible, could you send us a screenshot of how this looks like on your end so that we can have a visual too?
@Walter Thank you for jumping in. It is taking forever to figure this out. When I look on my drive where they should be downloaded, I don't see anything.
The problem is that, if it works on an incognito window, with no extensions etc, then this is definitely a browser issue.
You mentioned that you installed a new unzip app and ever since you did that, you're having this issue again? Is that an extension you added to Chrome?
