Passkey prompt appears in edit mode on iphone 16 pro max when using Dropbox Paper

johnweidner

I’m getting an odd bug, using Paper on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Whenever I’m in Edit mode, a bar appears that seems to be asking me to log in, though I’m already logged in. If I tap it Paper leaves Edit mode. The bar always says, "passkey for this website."

I think it's fixed. Deleted my passkey, improved password, made new passkey. Thanks

Hey there, @johnweidner, let's jump right into this!

This sounds like it could be related to your passkey settings.

To help troubleshoot this, could you check if you have a passkey enabled either in your Dropbox account or in your device's settings? As a next step, you might want to try:

Removing the passkey for Dropbox if you've added one to your account.
Checking your device's password manager settings to remove the individual passkey or temporarily turn off autofill suggestions.
Signing out and back into the app to see if the behavior persists.

Let us know how it goes!
