Why does sync not start automatically after being paused?

Question

If I pause for a certain time, it does not resume after this time. See screenshot - paused until 10:15 but it is already 10:18 (and leaving it much longer doesn't make it start)

This used to work, and there was a previous report from 2025 ("Pause Sync" does not automatically restart on my Windows device. - Dropbox Community) now fixed.

I am using Windows 11,  dropbox 276.4.5266

Hey there, @Peter H.87, let's see what we can find about this together!

Thanks for sharing the Dropbox desktop app build that you're using. It doesn't appear that you're using an older or beta version, so you're all set in that regard.

I know this might sound trivial, but have you tried signing out of the app and then signing back in? Have you also made sure you've installed the app with admin privileges for your Windows device? If so, I'd also suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I should add - manual Resume works OK.
