Why is there no option for iOS camera uploads to upload new photos only?

this is something that has always bothered me when I use my the Dropbox app on iPhone for the longest time. Why is there no option to upload ONLY NEW files? Why is there just “choose a date” and “all photos existing and new photos”? Is there a way to have Dropbox automatically upload photos that are old in my gallery but haven’t been transferred to my Dropbox cloud? I want to avoid having to reupload my entire library just to get the few photos I missed.

No worries, Carl! Indeed, the app should recognize photos that have already been uploaded and won't re-upload or duplicate them.

Can you try and see if the photos that the app missed do get uploaded, or don't get uploaded at all?
