I'm not seeing the Dropbox menu bar icon on my Mac computer

Hi there,

When i click on the dropbox application, it just takes me to the folder and doesn't launch the application. When I go to system settings and menu bar, the option to toggle dropbox on, so that it displays is not there (the dropbox app just simply isn't mentioned).

How do I fix this?

Have you restarted your computer ever since this issue appeared?

If restarting doesn't help, please reinstall the Dropbox app, without uninstalling it first, and let me know if that works.
