I find it very difficult to export files in the Dropbox app for iOS

On iPhone, Dropbox no longer shows an Export file option for me in the
Files tab for [FILENAME] or [FILENAME] files. The only visible Share
option pushes link sharing, and the only way I found to send the actual
file is a clumsy workaround through Print and then the iOS Share button.
If this is an intentional product change, it makes Dropbox much less
usable for sending files directly and pushes link sharing in situations
where recipients often cannot use links. Please bring back a direct file
export option in the iPhone app. Otherwise, I have to look for different options for cloud storage. Many people I send files to cannot access the links.

Let's see what we can find, though, because I just tested it on my own device and it worked fine for me.

At the moment, I see that there are actually two ways to export a file from the iOS app.

You can tap on the "…" (ellipsis) button on a file and then tap on "Save to device". This should allow you to export the file both to your device and to other apps.
You can tap on the "…" button on a file, then tap on "Share", then on the little downward arrow next to "Link for viewing".

This should open a little menu for you to choose the "Export" option.

If these options are not what you see, though, please let me know which version of the Dropbox app you're using and send me a couple of screenshots showing the behavior you're seeing on your end.

Thanks. Neither of those is obvious but they do work. The save to device seemed to mean that i had to store a local copy in files, but I'm glad it doesn't mean that. The other one used to show both options right away, so I didn't assume that Dropbox had hidden it and forced me to use the down arrow.

Note that the reason I need this is that I often send files to people in China and they cannot use your file links due to the great firewall.
