To sync this folder, give Dropbox permission to access it ERROR

Hi, I recently downloaded a music production plugin on my MacBook M1 Pro, and the ‘/Library/Application Support/Synapse Audio’ folder (which contains the plugin's presets) isn't syncing with Dropbox. First of all, I don't understand why I need to sync files in the Library folder, since the backup I have set up on my Mac includes main folders like Desktop, Documents, and Music, but not Library. I tried clicking “Get Info” on the folder and granted read and write permissions to every user. Additionally, in the settings, I gave Dropbox full access to the disk, but none of this works—it can’t complete the sync.

Thank you so much for your help, at the end i fixed this: the folder in this case was an "alias" in my Documents folder, so i had to give full access at that folder, not in the Library folder one.

In regards to your files being in the Library folder it sounds like you're part of Dropbox on File Provider. You can read more about that here.

As a first step, could you please check the app's current syncing status in your menu bar, and let me know what it reports?

Have you tried dragging the folder or files out of your local Dropbox folder, wait for the app to sync, and then add them back in?

If you follow the steps below, do they help?

-Click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and then click your profile picture or initials

-Select 'Preferences'

-Click on the 'Account' tab

-Hold down the 'Option/Alt' key

-Click on the 'Fix Permissions' button (make sure you're still holding down the 'Option' key.
