24144853 seems unstable, app wants to synchronize all files, and sync preferences does not work properly

I’d like a few more details, in order to look into this.
First off, can you clarify the exact number of files located within your local Dropbox folder? You can easily track this by right-clicking on the Dropbox folder and going to its Properties/Get info section.
After that, I’d also like a screenshot of your desktop app’s syncing status and of what you see under your sync preferences (since you mention they don’t work).
