I have been looking for a solution for our small business with 5-6 users, currently ~700gb of data on our shared dropbox.
I would like to make local file access (at the office) easier for everyone. Right now it is fairly slow for me to update a file and then have that file sync to all the other users.
If we were to put a windows PC on our local network, install dropbox, and then share that local dropbox folder as a shared drive for all users on our LAN, would that create any issues?
We could still access all the files outside of our LAN through the dropbox app
I know there are NAS options for this, but they rely on third party apps to sync to dropbox. I'd rather use the native dropbox app running on a windows PC if possible.
