Dropbox desktop app on my Windows is stuck. "Reconnecting to the internet. This may take a moment".

Dropbox is showing "Reconnecting to the internet. This may take a moment".
I need a solution for this.
I tried everything-

Internet Connection Issues
Firewall or Antivirus Blocking Dropbox
VPN or Proxy Interference (Though when i turn on vpn it starts to sync but only for a minute)
Dropbox Server Issues (Dropbox in my browser is running smoothly. Also i checked ping dropbox.com)
DNS or Network Configuration
Check Date & Time Settings
Outdated App or Windows Version
Network Adapter Issues (Everything without dropbox app is running smoothly)

Please i need an urgent solution for this. Please help me.

Hey @AfrozaMoury, welcome to our Community!

The first thing I'd like to ask is the exact OS on the devices you're using, along with the Dropbox version you use there. You can find the version by hovering your mouse over the little Dropbox icon, next to your WiFi in your taskbar.

In addition to that, could you check the proxy settings in the Dropbox desktop application preference by using these steps? Please try setting it to 'No proxy' to see if this helps.

One last thing: can you please reboot your computer and internet router and let me know if you're still getting the same error? If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot too.

Edition - Windows 11 Pro
Version - 24H2

Dropbox Version -238.4.6075

I am using TP-Link DECO M4 mesh router

I attached a screenshot. I tried restarting everything. Also i give a fresh windows yesterday. But it remains same. I also tried to change my ip address but nothing helps at all.

Dropbox 243.4.6956 and I am on a Macbook Pro M4 MAX

Proxy is off! And reboot has already been completed. I am experiencing the same issues as the OP.

My Dropbox has NOT been the same since I was prompted to opt in for "indexing".

Hey there, @taylorklassen, I'd be more than happy to help!

How long has the app been like that? Also, it might sound trivial but have you tried restarting your modem/ internet router by any chance?

Could you try reinstalling the Dropbox desktop application, without uninstalling it first, by using this link?

Lastly, I was also going to suggest that you try signing out of the app and then sign back in. You can follow these steps in order to achieve that.
