I am from the Netherlands, using Windows 10 by extended version, and my sync logo of 1 map is stuck for 8 days now
Please help me to make this a nice and soooooooooo comforting green v again

Have you closed whatever program the map is using to let the sync complete?
I was extending my Windows 10 for a year and I guess something went wrong that specific afternoon
But is whatever application accessing the map closed? Dropbox cannot sync open files.
Or, have you tried restarting Dropbox or the machine?
Yes Mark, I close and clean my laptop every day.
And I use syncing Dropbox almost every day. Everything since that afternoon is perfectly synct.
I can't send a screenshot but I have 4 maps, this map is called "documents" and I hope that its just a frozen symbol and everything is oke
For about 8 days is says "sync is planned"

What happens if you try to attach your screenshot here on our forum? Are you getting any kind of error?
I’d also like a screenshot of your Dropbox app’s current syncing status.
Finally, if you add a small file to your "documents” folder, does it sync to www.dropbox.com?

Just to confirm, did you syncing get unstuck?
If I understand correctly, it got unstuck, but the blue arrow syncing icon is still on that folder, is that right?

Hmm, if you go to your Dropbox folder, right-click anywhere within the folder (not on a file) and click on "refresh", does that make any difference?
Nope, that's one of the many things I already tried
Refreshing does nothing, nowhere...

So, if you right-click on an empty space within the Dropbox folder and click on the "refresh" option nothing happens, right?
And I'm assuming you've restarted the Dropbox app and the computer by now, correct?

Must be after I made a backup on a usb-stick because Windows 10 ended its service at first...

Indeed, if my translation is correct, the message on the screenshot is talking about a removable drive, so perhaps it has to do with our backup feature.
Regarding your issue, though, there's no need to uninstall the app yet. You can simply download and run the installer, without uninstalling the previous one.

Oh, I completely understand, Wilma. Troubleshooting can be hard when issues are persistent!
If you do wish to continue working on it, I'd suggest uninstalling the app this time, restarting the computer and then reinstalling it.
This won't affect or remove the files in your Dropbox folder.
But I do understand if you don't wish to continue.
We'll be here either way, if you need anything else.

It's not sorted Megan. I think that the sync symbol will never change without intervention of a hardcore dropbox- genius
