Cannot sync due to permission(s) issue.

Question or Issue
Over 100 files cannot sync/upload due to permission issues. Have changed folder and individual permissions but no change.

Hi there @markscranton - thanks for letting us know about this.

Can you please let me know what happens if you click on the 'open permissions' and the 'Learn more' buttons that are shown in your screenshot?

Are you able to find those files in your Dropbox folder on your computer to try to move them out and back in perhaps?

I'm having this same issue. Any help appreciated.

My MacBook has OS Tahoe 26.0.1. Dropbox app version: 234.4.5591

Dropbox has full disk access.

Hey @mrrichardlewis - did you get the chance to try my previous suggestion?

If I click open permissions - an OS dialog opens and asks for my password. But I have to do this for each folder. I have more than 50 in the list.

This message shows in window, but It doesn't seem to reduce the number of "issues" even when left for a long time.

I see, thanks for the additional information and the screenshot too @mrrichardlewis - much appreciated.

Since you've ensured that Dropbox has full disk access, can you check if copying and/or moving those folders out and back in your Dropbox folder makes any difference? You can try it with a folder as a test at first.
