Has anyone been having any issues with Windows 11?
Hi @LadyMcb, thanks for messaging the Community!
Could you let us know more information about what you're experiencing with Dropbox on Windows 11?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
Hey @LadyMcb, I hope you're doing well!

Hello - Very nice to meet you. I have a public profile and a website.

Been with Windows 10 for the past 10 years.
Let me start by saying I have just started using Dropbox with Windows 11.
At the same time (after 10 years) I have a 5G Android Motorola 2024.
In my case the OS (Phone Link) fails to recognize the link to the android, but Dropbox syncs the files.
I have had a few instances with files being lost.
You can see how long it took me to reply. Testing many features with the new apps.
@Andrew Donaldson can you help clarify this part?
"In my case the OS (Phone Link) fails to recognize the link to the android, but Dropbox syncs the files."
Can you explain the connection between Dropbox on your Windows 11 and where your Android phone comes into the picture? And what is not working between them?
Hi~ I helped a colleague with a DropBox (DB) Desktop App/Microsoft/Windows11 issue this morning. It was asking her to re-save everything and re-set all the paths. Apologies, I'm new to the community and wasn't thinking about what screenshots I should be taking to share, so there are none. But when she clicked through all the save prompts, it wouldn't save, and the next time she went into the same doc, the same thing would happen. Additionally, she was continually warned by DB pop-ups that " this document might harm your computer", even though they did not behave this way yesterday. I was under the impression this was caused by a Microsoft Update, but ultimately, in the end, we were able to uninstall and reinstall the DropBox Desktop App and have the skeptical saving behavior stop. Is there any more information or links you'd guide me towards to learn more about what caused this odd behavior?
Hey @JulieRem! In this case, we’d most likely need a few screenshots of any messages she was getting on her end, to take a look and further assist (without them, it’s a bit hard to troubleshoot this unfortunately). If this happens again, feel free to post them in this thread and we’ll be happy to help.
Other than that, it may be useful to know the syncing status and app version of her Dropbox app, while the issue is present.
