My computer crashed and I had to re-install dropbox. When I did so, the default sync preference was already set to "online-only." Now I cannot switch those files to be "available offline." They are stuck in the cloud.
Two related issues: 1) For some reason upon re-install, in explorer the "right click, context menus" for my files have also disappeared. So I cannot right click files and folders to switch them to "available offline" in explorer. This seems to be the default solution, but is not available to me.
2) I have already tried resetting the "default sync preference" to "available offline" but this did not affect files that were already showing as "online only." I have also tried changing my choices of "selective sync" folders (removing and then re-adding choices) but this did not change anything either.
Note: this is a work computer-- I do not have full administrative privileges.
