Progress bar missing in the Dropbox desktop app on Mac

Hi, I use the Dropbox Desktop app on a Nov 2023 Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.7.4

It always used to show me how long it will take for my files to upload. Now it gives me no information. This happened before a while ago, I spoke to support, they got me to reinstall Dropbox. After that it showed me a progress bar, but no time any more.

But once again all useful information has dissappeared. This is a really annoying issue. It's making me consider cancelling Dropbox and using a different service because for my workflow, I need to know how long it will take to upload my files. I don't mind if it's not entirely accurate, I just need some sort of indication. Without it, the app feels pretty useless to me, this is a big deal.

Hey @jakeokevans - thanks for letting us know about this.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you send us a screenshot of the Dropbox desktop app's status and version as shown in your menu bar?

Also, did you reboot your computer and/or quit and relaunch the app since you first noticed this?
