How do I get that stupid mini-menu on the bottm right corner from popping up? I've tried changing preference. I've shut off all the notifications. It keeps coming up. What a stupid feature!

Are you saying that it's opening on it's own, with no direct input by you? The Dropbox menu doesn't typically open unless you click on the Dropbox icon in your system tray. There's nothing in Dropbox which causes it to open on its own.
