Dropbox updater crash in event log on Windows 11

My event log has this error

+The DropboxUpdater InternalService 123.0.6299.109 (DropboxUpdaterInternalService123.0.6299.109) service terminated with the following service-specific error: Incorrect function.

Is this something that is known and should I be addressing it in some way?

Can you please let me know if this is affecting you somehow and clarify the version/status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your taskbar?

I noticed this working on another problem, as near as I can tell, Dropbox is still functional, The version is: 225.4.4896

I have a very similar problem, except it crashes my laptop and reboots it, not even a BSOD.

wouldn't you know... I found a forum post with my exact issue. mine is ALSO doing this. it's not blue screening, but it just freezes and my screen goes black. the only way to fix it is to restart my computer manually with the power button. has this continued to happen to you as well?
