I have some files (not all) that are in Dropbox that do not sync/ update from my desktop to my hand-held devices. They updated for a long time but now have started not updating which is very inconvenient. Can anybody help, please?

HI @bulldogman, it sounds like something might be preventing the app from uninstalling fully.
If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?
Thanks Jay, but the first step is click on the icon, and when I do that nothing happens except for a spinnint circle for a few seconds. Which leaves me unable to proceed.

Unfortunately, it does not help. I still can't uninstall.
In this case, can you follow the steps below, @bulldogman, and let me know if they help?
- Click on the line that references the process to select it
- Click on "End Process"
After these steps, please try to uninstall the app again.
It looks like that got it uninstalled. When I search DropBox on my computer it shows
I assume the listings under "Search the web" are irrelevant, but do any of the installers, or the file folder need to be deleted before I try to reinstall? Thank you for your help.
